Pick pocket mini album

Hi this is the start to my pick pocket album.
I learned how to do this with Laura over on her you stream channel follow the paper trail she is awesome with so many great minis to share with you.

I am making this mini for my little boys school teacher I will be putting pictures of all the children and messages of there mums to say thankyou for looking after all our kids over the last two years.

Wedding Anniversary Hanging

Wow! 25 years of marriage!
That's how long my friends Mandy and Peter have been married. Not many people reach this anniversary these days, so its nice to see there are still people out there that are so happy together after all those years.

For their special day, I decided that I would make them a pocket wall hanging that I learned how to make at the Victoria Stamping Group I attend each month. The class was taught by a lady called Lynne from an idea that came from Jo over at Jozart, so check out her blog as there are more samples and ideas there for this hanging and a great variety of other craft items too.

There is also a tutorial that I set up over on my you tube channel . I'm still on a learning curve doing videos but it gives a really good idea of how to make the hangings.

For this special hanging, I decided to make little booklets to slot inside the pockets, showing pictures of their memorable wedding day. There are 4 little booklets, one of the bride, then one of the happy couple, one of he guests, then last but not least the party. I still had a few pictures left and wanted to use them, but sadly did not have enough room in the pockets, so I placed the extra pictures on the back to decorate it instead of leaving it plain. To make it into a hanger, I made a coat hanger out of heavy wire and tied ribbons onto it.

porcelain flower tutorial part 1

Hi for some time now i have been uploading videos over onto you tube showing things i have bought(this is a big thing on there)and projects that i have completed.On one of these projects there was a porcelain flower and a lady emailed me asking would i do a tutorial on how it was made.Well i was nervous to say the least well i thought what the heck lets give it ago.well here is the finished videos please let me know what you think good or bad thats how i will get better

Door Hanger Birthday Card

Here's a card that I made for my friend's niece.

Originally I was going to just make the card for the birthday girl to easily convert into a hanger but then I thought, I'd make an extra door hanger and place it inside so this way she could hang it all year round and not just on her birthday! LOL!.

I think it works well for a 15 year old!

I also decorated the 2 sides of the door hanger. 1 side says enter and the other has her name on... Ashley. I used a Kanban sheet of card with pink spots to decorate it and added border peel offs around the edges. I also used spun sugar distress and a die cut sheet of cupcakes, once again by by Kanban.

The stamped image is from the Tilda range and coloured with Promarkers and I added Glossy Accents onto the crown and star that the little girl is holding.

I then made a few of my lollipop flowers (which you can order from me if you like them and they come in a range of colours. Just email me if you would like any.)

I then gave the whole thing a coating of pearl glimmer mist and attached the door hanger to the card using a plastic pink paper clip which will also be handy for attaching notes and reminders.

Distressed Grunge Paper Mini Album

Hi, I'd like to share with you this mini album I made made by following Laura on you tube/ustream from FOLLOWTHEPAPERTRAIL. It consists of 5 pages made with chipboard and then covered with your desired papers (printed or handmade). I made my own papers using Distress Inks sponged then stamped over with various images in the theme.

On the front there is a porcelain rose I made using UTEE.

Here's an effective idea to insert eyelets and lace up the pages.

Canvas was stamped and trimmed to fit the pages, creating lots of pockets.

Different tags were decorated to add interest to all the pockets.

There are also 5 Grunge paper tags, which were cut with the Tim Holtz on the edge dies and these match the chipboard pages that were also cut with the dies.

The embellishments add interest!

I made the cogs from Tim Holtz die using shrink plastic and they reduced to great little embellishments.

The front and back covers are also made from Grunge Paper but only 1 side is covered with paper as the paper will buckle with the bend on the side that wraps round.

The closure is a Tim Holtz key hole and a hitch fastener and ribbon is wrapped round the clock.

Do make sure that whatever you put there will be strong enough to withstand the mini album being frequently opened and closed.

Distress inks were used to give a distressed look to the grunge paper that has not been covered. It was then stamped over with Versamark ink, dried, then Perfect Pearls were rubbed over. This give a lovely effect which looks better IRL!

All the pockets contain photo mats and journalling items.

it is Auntie jens birthday on 15.12.09 so Grandma and i thought it would be nice to her a polooza about her and her dad all the things they love doing as sadly Jens dad is no longer with us but is always in spirit.we thought she would enjoy this as it brings her dad in to the celebrations of her birthday im sure she will love looking at it and seeing all the different things that her dad and herself love doing.

spoilt again

there must be somthing in the air down this end Grandma(my other halfs mum) came with a huge bag of goodies for me today.i cant beleive that i got spoilt yesterday by Paula and today by Grandma.there was so much in the bag it took me ages to unwrap them all i think my christmas really has come early.

There is new things in the bag i never done before like scrapio and lots of bling and scrap papers stamps all kinds to many to mention thank you grandma it was so nice to get such lovly gifts and so many to love you loads xxx

dark fairy book

first of all i just want to say sorry about the pics not being the correct way tried to rotate them but without success.

I made this book for my friends daughter she asked me for somthing vampireish and i didnt really have owt so thought if i stamped some fairys and coloured in dark clours it mite work.

well i think it did and was very pleased with the result it may have taken a long time to do but it was worth it trouble was i liked it too much that i wanted to keep it and couldnt i didnt even have anymore of the papers i used left and cannot remember where i got them from.but at least i got the pics to look at lol.

I distressed the backing papers and embossed in black powder the birds.I stamped the fairys coloured with my pro markers cut them out and stuck them in the book.I also made a couple of pages with tags on as she didnt want it say happy birthday on the book so she could keep it up in her room.

This was my first attempt at makeing one of these books and i was very pleased with it.I love cute stamps so really enjoyed makeing this card.

I can only show a few pages as you prob get booard looking at them all as each page are the same type of pics.

I got the template from hassle castle they make some amazing templates I also got the template to make the carraige as i feel they go hand in hand with each other.This is the side view of the one I made for my daughter to go with her castle.

toilet roll tag card

THIS IS THE CARD IM GOING TO BE DOING AT MY NEXT CLASS IT IS VERY SIMPLE TO DO BUT CAN TAKE ABIT OF TIME.

FIST OF ALL YOU NEED TO COLLECT SOME TOILET ROLL ENDS THAT IS NEVER A PROB IN MY HOUSE AS MY DAUGHTER IS ALWAYS USING IT LOL.ONCE YOU HAVE THEM OR WHY YOU WAIT YOU CAN GET SOME PAPER AND DECORATE IT FOR YOUR BACKGROUND.

CUT THE PAPER A BIT BIGGER THAN YOU TIOLET ROLLS THEN STICK IT AROUND YOUR ROLL ENDS WITH DOUBLE SIDED TAPE THEN TUK IN THE OVER HANG AND GLUE .THEN YOU HAVE TO DECIDE HOW YOU WANT TO DECORATE THEM I USED FAIRY STAMPS CUT THEM OUT AND PLACED THEM ON WERE I LIKED THEM .I ALSO ADDED A FEW OTHER BITS THAT HASNT REALLY SHOWN ON THE PICS.

FOR THE TAGS I MEASURED THE GAP IN BETWEEN THE ROLL ENDS AND CUT THEM A LITTLE SHORTER ONLY A COUPLE OF MM AS THEY WILL FALL OUT IF TO SMALL.I THEN DECORATED BOTHE SIDES ADDED EYELETS AND RIBBION TO THEM.

TO PUT THEM TOGETHER I USED MY BIND IT ALL WITH THE 3/4" WIRES

NEVER ENDING CARD

THIS IS ONE OF MY FIRST ATTEMTS TO DO A NEVER ENDING CARD.I MADE THIS FOR MY FRIEND PAUL AND HE LOVED IT AND HE SHOCKED ME THAT HE HAD NEVER SEEN ONE OF THESE BEFORE.
WHEN HE OPENED IT AT OUR MONTHLY STAMP MEETING A FEW OF THE GIRLS WANTED TO KNOW HOW TO MAKE IT WITCH ENEED UP ME DOING MY FIRST EVER CLASS.

I WAS VERY SCARED DOING IT BUT EVERYONE WAS GREAT AND NOW IM BOOKED IN FOR DOING ANOTHER CLASS IN FEBUARY FINGERS CROSSED THAT IT WILL GO JUST AS WELL

Gucci shoe card
